Smalti Cut B
MosaicSmalti.com stocks the full standard palette of 100 colors of Orsoni
smalti in the larger “B” cut size of Orsoni Smalti. The ‘B’ cut pieces are
approximately 2” x 2” squares (about 3/8” thick) cut from the smalti ‘pizza’
prior to being hand cut into the standard ‘A’ cut size of tesserae. Many artists
prefer to cut their own tesserae from the ‘B’ cut to control the size and shape
of the smalti used in their mosaics. For information on using the ‘B’ cut, refer
